I got this game via my phone, I know the Buckeyes had a better game statistically, but this season was a wash before the season started. Rightfully so, you can't do what Tressel claims to have done without expecting punishment, and he basically got the "death penalty". Show Cause, 5 years. At 64, he's done in college ball. Luke Fickell is the man! He handled himself like a pro this season. He took care of business, and played his game, his way, and showed that he will be a good coach. You watch, he's going to become a quality head coach. For now he will help run our defense. Next season I predict 8-4. Go Buckeyes!!! -1/2/12

Today, November 28, 2011, The Ohio State University announced that Urban Meyer would be taking over the program. Urban Meyer is a man who has been very successful in college football. He won 2 National Titles when he was coaching Florida. One of them was a huge loss for Buckeyes fans, 41-14. I recall thinking at the time, that I wish we had this guy as a coach. I would never have wanted Jim Tressel to have to resign, he ran a great program, however I think Urban Meyer will return our team to elite status. Urban Meyer has coached at Bowling Green, going 17-6, and also at Utah, going 22-2, then at Florida he won 65 times, losing only 15. I think Urban Meyer is going to be great for recruiting, and I think Ohio State will go 9-3 next season, if not better. Braxton Miller looks like he will be a great quarterback, and you gotta be excited to think of what the possibilities are. Go Buckeyes!!! -11/29/11

For the first time in 8 years, we have to lament a loss to Michigan. They had better savor this one, as it'll likely be their last for a while. The game could still have been won by OSU late, however Miller threw an interception, and that ended it. Next year, we will likely have Urban Meyer coaching us, and therefore should win. We'll see next season. This season there will be no bowl, no glory, just emptiness, and we can thank Tressel for hitting reply. -11/26/11

The Buckeyes made a lot of mistakes today, turning the ball over twice. Braxton Miller looked better, but it wasn't enough. I'm very much convinced that next week the Buckeyes will lose to Michigan for the first time in the past 8 seasons. We'll see. There are many reports currently stating that Urban Meyer has agreed in principle to become the next head coach of the Buckeyes. I would say by Bowl Season, we'll know. 2011 is a forgotten season anyhow, due to inconceivable stupidity.

Ohio State goes to 3-3 in Big Ten play this year, and loses a heartbreaker in Purdue. Irrelevant really, even if they won out the remainder of the season, they're not going to a bowl. The NCAA issued a charge of "Failure to Monitor" this week, which will likely result in OSU having a bowl ban for this year anyhow. Miller had one of his best games, with 132 yards passing. One thing is vitally obvious, this whole season is completely overshadowed by the events at Penn State.

Braxton Miller scored 2 touchdowns to seal the win for the Buckeyes. For the Buckeyes to get to the Big Ten Championship game, they will need to win out, and hope for Penn State to lose 2. The Buckeyes took advantage of a timely turnover to get their victory. Dan Herron turned in another quality performance. Go Buckeyes -11/5/11

Braxton Miller made a hail mary to put the Buckeyes up 33-29, in the last minute of the game. Wisconsin had a few shots at the end zone, but failed to connect. Luke Fickell just made a HUGE statement with this win. I definitely didn't expect a win vs Wisconsin this year, they're usually a VERY tough team. Irrespective, I'm thrilled, GO BUCKEYES!!! -10/29/11

Braxton Miller completed 1 pass today, and made only 4 attempts. Luke Fickell decided to play a game Woody Hayes would have been proud of. The defense was absolutely spot on, and the Buckeyes played a perfect game. Major improvement, but Miller needs to step up and show why he's the quaterback of the future. Unfortunately, good or not, Luke Fickell probably won't get the job at Ohio State. There is a lot of speculation about what the NCAA may levy against them, and it could very well be harsh. The NCAA is seldom consistent, and so Fickell is smart to just play his game, his way. Go Buckeyes -10/15/11

The team looked pretty good out of the gate. The compiled a pretty substantial lead, and then Braxton Miller got hurt, and they fell apart. Nebraska came racing back, scoring 21 unanswered points, and winning the game. Next week we will likely get to see a loss to Illinois. -10/12/11

The Buckeyes looked absolutely horrible today, on offense. Again, I think Jim Bollman needs to go. Michigan State's defense is ranked #1 in the country, and were definitely good, but the Buckeyes continuously shot themselves in the feet. Missed snaps, poorly run routes, poor play calling, it was ugly all around. This is definitely not what Buckeyes' fans are used to. Perhaps we'll get Urban Meyer to coach us next year? Irrespective, we need the rest of our players back, and we need a better offensive coordinator. -10/1/11

Ohio State bounced back from the loss to Miami very well. They looked dominant against Colorado. Luke Fickell decided to start Braxton Miller at QB, and while Miller doesn't appear to be a very good passer yet, I think in time, he will improve greatly. The fact that they came to this game better prepared, suggests Fickell is working on things. We'll see how things play out for the remainder of the year. The next game is Michigan State, and its going to be a tough game. Michigan State is a quality team this year. -9/24/11

Ohio State looked absolutely awful against Miami. The offense was ineffective, the defense was ok, but nothing special. This team is under a new coach, and playing with a lot of missing players. This is probably not representative Fickell work, I want to see what he can do with a full team. Miami's Jacory Harris displayed occassional briliance, followed by folly. Ohio State is likely going to have a rough year. Next up is Colorado. Go Buckeyes! -9/24/11

Toledo tried to end the Buckeyes streak of in-state victories today, but came up short, as Ohio State wound up with a win, 27-22. Joe Bauserman threw for 189 yards, 16 of 30, with 1 TD. Next week our foe gets much more difficult, as we face Miami. We'll see how things play out. Go Buckeyes!!! -9/10/11

Ohio State went through a ton of problems in the offseason, that lead to Jim Tressel resigning as head coach. I can't excuse his behavior with this incident, however I feel he also got completely railroaded. As for the NCAA, well... don't even get me started on the rampant corruption amongst this group of crooks. Irrespective, Luke Fickell lead the Buckeyes to victory over Akron. Next week we play Toledo, who could be tougher than they appear, and I hope the Buckeyes aren't caught playing too much in the Miami game. Go Buckeyes - 9/5/11
